I wanted to know what paying a £1000 cash lump sum of my mortgage would do to either the Term or the Monthly repayments. I was very suprised to find that £1000 would knock a whole year of the term of my Mortgage. The calculator I used is http://www.jeacle.ie/mortgage/uk/ It’s very nicely done.

This company http://www.fonebank.com/ takes your old Mobile Phones and gives you cash for them. For example my old Nokia E70 got £30 and my original iPhone 8Mb got £105 I find this much easier and convenient than ebay’ing them and certainly better than leaving them in a drawer or binning them.
