Peterborough Show

I went to the Peterborough show this weekend.  It wasn’t planned and I only really confirmed I would be there on Thursday.  It was both disappointing and brilliant.

It was disappointing because there were very few motorhome stalls of the type I love.  You know the ones with little motorhomer gadgets and parts and accessories.  If you wanted to buy clothes, designer handbags, massage machines, pet stuff etc etc you would be well served.  If you wanted a new tap for your shower room or a couple of retaining clips for something it was a very disappointing show.

On the upside,  I managed to find the MotorhomeFun rally and was made really welcome and had a great time with them over 3 nights.  The third night I even moved my van over to the rally enclosure which saved me walking back after a few beers.

It was great to see some old friends and meet up with some new ones.  Jim and Sian made me very welcome.  Champers were great company,  JJ made me laugh with his antics.  I would like to thank everyone I met there and look forward to seeing you all again.
